mish mash

{top- Urban Outfitters, pants- Calvin Klein, shoes- Steve Madden, bag- Liz Claiborne, sunglasses- Ray Ban}

Just got home from a very much needed few days spent at my beach house. I love it there, I haven't been
 there since last summer and now can seriously not wait for school to be over and for it to be summer. Even
 though it was so out of season and deserted it was a nice few days away from home.
I originally had a more neutral top on earlier in the day but changed into this print. I like that even though
 they don't match well, the outfit still goes well together.

easy

{shirt- Liz Claiborne, dress- 36 point 5, shoes- Steve by Steve Madde, sunglasses- Ray Ban}

An easy and comfortable outfit. Was a little unsure about the length of the dress but
I actually really like it. Its not too long where I'm tripping over it and not the super awkward
mid shin length. Perfect really.

tightsless

{dress- Urban Outfitters, shoes- Steve Madden, bag- Cambridge Satchel Company, sunglasses- Ray Ban,
 necklace- Sarah Chloe, ring- Swarovski, bracelets- Hermes, Mono & Me}

The weather here has been exponentially beautiful, nice enough to go tightsless! Not such terrible weather
 to come home to from Aruba. I was debating whether to wear this dress with a pair of navy chucks or my
 men's dress shoes. I decided to go with the men's because they still need some breaking in.

I adore the color and style of this dress. I picked it up on sale at an Urban Outfitters a few years ago and
 haven't been able to find anything even similar to it. Perfect for 'business casual' events with opaque tights
 and heels and for sunny days with men's dress shoes.

I've been seeming to like Steve Madden shoes more and more. Sometimes I feel like their products are
overrated just because they're easy to buy and sometimes simple. And because EVERYONE has them.
But I love these not really oxfords but more like men's dress shoes I picked up today. I was originally
looking for an oxford similar to the pair that I have but these caught my eye. Especially the aqua sole.

{dress- Forever 21, sweater- RD Style, shoes- Steve Madden}

For some strange reason I'm overly excited for Stockholm Fashion Week next week. I've
never really paid much attention to it or was every really interested but I can hardly
wait. I'm also getting a bit too much use out of this RD International Style sweater.
Difficult to match with but easily layered over a white shirt dress.
While in the airport security coming home from Florida I took the laces off my
oxfords and threw them away and now I'm wishing I didn't. All because of the
most disgusting no shoes rule while going through security.

plain and simple
{sweater- Anthropology, shorts- Levi's, tights- Skeemos}

Still not totally satisfied with my hair, I'm starting to think that I'll never be. But, I'm willing to try one
 more time, but this time I think I'll go to a different salon. With Christmas only a week away I'll be super
 busy this week getting some last minute gifts.
I'm getting a bit sick of tights, I made a trip to The Sock Drawer this weekend to pick up some thigh high
 socks to replace tights with for a while. Really just until I get tired of them and go back to the tights.

Surprised that I was so into these shoes, I usually don't go for Steve Madden Shoes. Everyone just seems
 to have them, but I really do like these. It was between these Steve Madden ones and these Jeffrey
Campbell ones. I went with Steve Madden because Jeffrey Campbell is taking over my closet one pair of
 shoes at a time.

thanks

I find myself in this sweater nearly everyday. Whether it's to go to bed, run a few errands, or just to hang
 out in. I've successfully and maybe accidentally stretched it out a good two sizes. When I got it from a
thrift shop it was and fit like an extra small. But I guess through wearing it so much I've stretched it's
 extra smallness out to an over sized large. Speaking of over sized clothing, over sized is just what I'll
need after consuming immense amounts of stuffing, corn souffle, butternut squash soup, and mashed
potatoes today. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it and happy Thursday to everyone
else!

ESSENTIAL #6

When winter comes around and temperatures really start to plummet we love to
turn to a pair of nice, comfy, warm boots. Therefore any type of boots are
entitles to be essential number six. Above is a  pair of booties that I have been
thinking about purchasing. For some reason I really like heel booties.
I recently got these boots from Steve Madden and have been loving them.
My favorite part is the red zipper along the inside. That's actually the reason I
 bought them. Plus they're super comfy!
I suppose you could call these booties. But more clogs. Anyway I got these a while ago,
but don't think I've ever posted about them. They're by Jeffrey Campbell and my most
favorite pair of shoes I own. They are actually very comfortable and go nicely
with mostly everything. On the plane back home from Texas I left them in a bag
in the overhead. I know, devastating. BUT the airport found them and they
should be getting to me any day now!
These are also Jeffrey Campbell, I've also been thinking about this pair, but I feel like
they're too similar to the ones above. Plus pretty much all the shoes I own
are black. I've been trying to be a bit more spontaneous with the shoes
I purchase, basically no more buying black shoes.
