Just got home from a very much needed few days spent at my beach house. I love it there, I haven't been

 there since last summer and now can seriously not wait for school to be over and for it to be summer. Even

 though it was so out of season and deserted it was a nice few days away from home.
I originally had a more neutral top on earlier in the day but changed into this print. I like that even though
 they don't match well, the outfit still goes well together.

The weather here has been exponentially beautiful, nice enough to go tightsless! Not such terrible weather

 to come home to from Aruba. I was debating whether to wear this dress with a pair of navy chucks or my

 men's dress shoes. I decided to go with the men's because they still need some breaking in. 

I adore the color and style of this dress. I picked it up on sale at an Urban Outfitters a few years ago and

 haven't been able to find anything even similar to it. Perfect for 'business casual' events with opaque tights

 and heels and for sunny days with men's dress shoes.

Power is back people! And I couldn't be happier. The only thing there was to do out of the house was
 shop. And maybe a few other things but I went with the shopping. Which resulted in these new Jeffery
 Campbells. I love all the little details, like the tassels on the laces, and the tiny indents on the toe. I seem
 to always be overly satisfied with his shoes. These are my very first pair of flat Jeffrey Campbells, I
never really saw the point in buying flat ones or really paying any attention to them. I suppose his sky
high platforms and extravagant wedges caught my eye more. But I really do like these, they just need
some breaking in like every pair do. 

school bag

I've been looking to buy a new bag for school that I can fit my books in. As much as I love my 

Alexander Wang, its just not convenient for school. A backpack would be ideal, but I don't know how I 

feel about wearing one. Or a satchel from the Cambridge Satchel Company? Definitely from their Fluro 

collection. What do you think?

Hunter

 {dress- Urban Outfitters, boots- Hunter}

When given the chance to get a pair of the infamous Hunter rain boots of course I jumped on it, without

 hesitation I chose the color yellow. For some reason I don't understand why people purchase rain boots

 in any other color. Doesn't a pair of yellow rain boots and rain go together like mac & cheese or peanut

 butter and jelly? Its just one of those things. My Hunters are ever so comfortable but nearly impossible

 to drive in, along with platforms they should probably be illegal to operate a vehicle in. A cute pair of 

rain boots makes a rainy day much better.

Also here is the link to the Ralph Lauren Collection Runway show, I can't stop watching it, the

 collection is so beautiful.
